As per the "Mundo Deportivo" daily, Roberto De Zerbi, who is set to depart Brighton at the end of the current campaign, and Thiago Motta, the coach of Bologna, are still candidates to lead Barcelona.
If Xavi leaves Barcelona at the end of the current campaign, the management of the team is thinking of selecting Thiago Motta to take his position.
People outside of Motta's circle have reportedly brought Motta up to Barcelona managers, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Bologna made history this season by qualifying for the Champions League under Motta's leadership. The former Italian midfielder stated he has not made a deal with any other team and that he will speak with Joey Saputo, the club president, about his future at Stadio Dallara next week.
Still, a number of Italian outlets maintain that Motta will take over as Juventus' next coach for the 2024–2025 campaign. De Zerbi, another Italian coach, is a contender to lead Barcelona.
